Emily Morrow
Attending SABIS International Charter School gave Emily Morrow the foundation she needed to serve her country. “I had the opportunity to attend advanced level courses at SABIS, which prepared me to succeed at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy where they have a very rigorous curriculum,” says Emily. Equally important for her work in the Coast Guard, Emily says participating in the SABIS Student Life Organization prepared her to be a leader and gave her the skills to work with others as a team.

“SABIS made me the person I am today,” says Amari Q. Xiomara Alban of Springfield has accomplished great things since graduating from SABIS International Charter School and earning her college degree at the University of New Hampshire Durham in 2010. “I was very active as a student leader at college after learning how to lead while at SABIS. At UNH, I founded the first multicultural and only sorority on campus,” she says proudly, noting her parents emigrated to the U.S. from Ecuador. Trevon Jones graduated in May 2018 from Bentley University with a major in finance, and he is determined to use the opportunities he has had in life to help others. Brittany Archey
When SABIS International Charter School opened in Springfield in 1995, Brittany Archey was there. Her mom wanted a better education for her, one where she could grow and have consistency and not have to move around from elementary to middle to high school. “[SABIS] has a very rigorous curriculum…it allowed you to learn a lot,” Brittany says.
